As part of the Digifest, the HADO EMEA Championship 2026 was held on 16th May in Antalya, featuring over eight hours of high-level augmented reality esports competition between some of the strongest HADO nations across Europe and Africa.

Teams representing Greece, England, Wales, Turkey, Cyprus, Spain, France, Belgium, and Morocco competed throughout the day in an exciting showcase of teamwork, strategy, and fast-paced gameplay.

Representing Team Wales were Durbs, Tadpole, Reece, Nathan, and Huw. For several members of the squad, this marked their first experience competing at an international HADO tournament, making the event an important milestone in their competitive journey.

Team Wales delivered strong performances throughout the tournament and reached the quarter-finals, where they faced a highly experienced Team Spain side. Despite a hard-fought match, Wales narrowly missed out on progressing further in the competition. The team demonstrated great determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the event, gaining valuable experience on the international stage.
